Ace Hardware has the thicker 6' piece of pipe insulation. You may need to cut 3-4" off and it will completely enclose the window tracking. Cut a small board for inside and outside put two 1/4 x 5" bolts with thumb nuts to draw them in and seal the water out. Works like a champ and my Scamp
fits in the carport less wind drag and weight
off the roof. I live in Florida and the a/c gets as cold as you want it. I couldn't find the thicker pipe wrap at Lowes or Home Depot. You can install the A/C from the outside just slip the front of it through the rear of the window. When you take it out turn it to it's side to drain the water out, let it dry out and you can store it under the front couch.
