2000 Casita Spirit Deluxe 17' $8500 or best offer
We have taken great care of our
Casita Spirit deluxe 17' since buying it used 3 years ago. We have made many upgrades on the inside and on the outside. We've enjoyed owning her immensely and you will too.
Casitas come from the factory with a rather plain interior which is fine, but we knew we could do more. Here's a list of upgrades we've done. They made her more beautiful, enjoyable, unique, and a cut above what you get from the factory. We hope you like what you see.
Interior Upgrades:
All
light oak surfaces have been properly refinished with a professional process to a Dark Espresso Finish that's rock hard.
All factory upholstery has been replaced with Custom cushion covers sewn by Clifton Upholstery Co. (They make them for
Casita and have all the right patterns)
The carpeted floor has been covered with a high-quality linoleum that's much easier to clean and better looking too.
All hooks and fixtures besides cabinet hardware have been upgraded to modern brushed nickel fixtures.
All window shades have been replaced with quality semi-blackout pleated shades from Blinds.com. The increased privacy and look of these shades is very nice.
Galley Upgrades:
The galley fan, was converted to a dual fan Mod for higher airflow, quieter operation and a roomier feel.
All the hanging hardware is stainless steel that looks great and will never rust.
Kitchen sink faucet was replaced with a taller swinging faucet that makes it much easier to work in that space.
The burner cover has been repainted to match the new look & a special Foil backing paper rounds out the improved look of the Galley.
Bathroom Upgrades:
All fixtures in the bathroom are new. The toilet, sink, faucet and shower wand have been replaced with nicer ones.
The Teak wood shower mat means you don't have to stand in a puddle when you shower.
The shower curtain was replaced and the new modern towel racks match the rest of the nickel hardware through out.
Closet Upgrades:
Just installed switched LED
lighting in the closet and we have the patterns to make the popular shelving modification...you can have those.
Bed Upgrades:
Have Southern Mattress co. 4" memory foam topper to use on top of the bed if you prefer the memory foam feel. It is very comfortable.
Water heater Upgrades:
We have changed out the heater corrosion rod as directed, and switched out the pressure release valve with a newer better model this yr. The water heater works very well.
Exterior Upgrades:
We have replaced all broken rivets, which is normal, and have plenty to spare.
Modified the trailer frame to hold dual
propane tanks with auto switching from the empty tank to the full one.
Repacked the trailer bearings last summer.
3 new matched
tires & rims matched to the trailer specs.
Just added JackE-Up trailer crank mod that allows you to remove the crank while connected to the tow vehicle. It gives more room for tow vehicles gates or doors.
Removed the useless, ugly old TV antenna from the back.
Installed new deep cycle marine
battery with quick disconnect. (ideal for winterizing).
What's left to do?
Casita's need a good wax job every few years to protect their finish. I've researched the best possible products and process to get this done right. I would happily do this myself if we were able to keep her. Since we need to sell her, I'll show you what I've learned.
