Well it’s time to sell the beloved
Boler, and I think it’s going to make someone very happy. Located in San Diego, California. Despite its exterior appearance, it has had a lot of work done to it that may not be evident in the pictures. In addition to a complete custom interior refit in 2009, upgrades include:
* Reinforced welded frame
* Electric
brakes
*
Axle upgrade with leaf springs
* Hand-crank stabilizers
* Track for a bag
awning
* Sealed undercarriage
* Contemporary
refrigerator
* Upgraded hook-up systems (plumbing and electrical)
* Improved bunk bed supports
* Custom bed extension (sleep lengthways for more space and comfort!)
The interior
renovation consisted of a new bamboo laminate floor, mahogany mini-blinds, rechargeable battery-powered
lighting, custom cabinet doors, closet organizer, and, of course, a fire extinguisher. One of the coveted original pieces remains however: the avocado-green gas cooktop! Also includes an 8 ft. bag
awning add-a-room screen. The bag
awning needs to be replaced, but the screen has never been used. Other extras: fairly new potable water hook-up hose, heavy duty
electrical hook-up cable, and a custom Velcro-attached screen door. Towing requires a 1 7/8” ball.
This trailer weighs in at 1500 lbs., but we’ve pulled it plenty of trouble-free miles with a Honda Element equipped with an auxiliary transmission cooler. In order to keep the
weight down, there are no on-board water tanks or 12V
battery. Gray water from the sink drains through a hose exiting the bottom where it can either be captured in a can, or extend the hose to drain into campground septic.
As you can see, it still has that inherent
Boler door sag, and it could stand a new exterior
paint job, but other than that, this thing is pretty awesome. Check
here for pics and thanks for looking!
