Can you tell me where you get that awning? My scamp awning never worked for me and I removed it.

Scamp Awning

Vintage Trailer Awning

Hi,
This is a link to the people we purchased our Red striped slide on awning.
We also had the factor Dometic old version and it was terrible.

Nice people. Good service. Mention the curve in the trailer if you order one so they can curve the attach side. This one is easy to set up with two people.
A bit time consuming for one. A stool is very helpful if you are not very tall.

Sorry, No that is not it.

I'll try again,
Vintage Trailer Awning

Try copy and paste into your browser..whatever that means.

That is the link. Search on Airstream antique awnings and it is about the fourth one down if this does not work. I've done the install solo, twice. More practice
and it may have gotten easier. i love the Zero windage while driving. Regular awnings are wind catchers.

south bend

Hi,
Possibly, but I'm not too excited about a trip in that direction.
SB is about a 6 hour drive from Indian River.
Where are you located?

Location

Good morning Andy,
I am located in Northwest Arkansas. After several months of shopping for a used Scamp I realize more than likely I'll be travelling to purchase one. I am trying to limit that distance to 10-12 hours. It will take me at least 12, maybe 13 hours, getting to South Bend.
Interested enough to make the trip for a trailer in good condition.
Thanks
Jeff

Hi Jeff,
Could you PM me with your email or phone contact so we
can discuss a possible rendezvous?

It makes sense to me that you are trying to keep the drive total time down.
We are about twelve hours from the factory. We actually bought it when it was
less than a year old and basically unused. We went to Grand Marais, Minn. to
pick it up. That was close to 11 hours.

Hi,
Pleased to report the Scamp has a new family.
Many Thanks to Fiberglasssrv.com. We bought her on this site
in 2009 and sold her yesterday.
