TX | UHaul CT 13 For Sale - Austin Tx

Hi all
I'm geting too pooped out to take "The Beagle" camping anymore so she's for sale. 1984 Uhaul CT, 13 feet and all fiberglass goodness. Mostly original with a nice aluminum platform on the back for a window a/c (that's included.) Could use some wax but in good shape. 900 pounds to tow so you can tow her with nearly anything.

Here are some of her features and all are included:
- cream colored
- window a/c
- original ice box (not a fridge but many folks have installed a fridge in other uhauls without much trouble)
- Fantastic Fan with thermostat and smoked cover.
- before I found a true Uhaul spare rim, I had a low speed custom rim made for a spare. You can have it plus the Uhaul spare tire rim I found.
- full kit of replacement window rubber and exterior spline.
- original stove and furnace but propane is not hooked up. Who wants to cook inside?!?
- new trailer wiring and new tow lights plus LED light bar.
- original trailer lights and lenses still in place.
- new in box Maxx Air cover
- new in box IOTA electronic battery charger.
- cushions in great shape, carpet good.
- one leak near door but I'm working on that this week.
- curtains
- porta potti
- potable water system cleaned with new hoses. sink pump works.
- original solar panel up top but haven't tested it. I charge the battery with shore power.
- tires like new with only 900 miles on them.
- 2 new LED interior lights.


Asking $4100 but I'll negotiate. She's in good shape and you can camp with her tomorrow or tinker around with adding some items, if you like to tinker. I have clear title and she's currently insured and tagged.

Thursday morning & wondering if you still have the Uhaul camper? I recently purchased a Burro (13' from 1983) & have been re-habbing it. My good friend is dangerously envious of my little beast & when I showed her your message about having something nearly identical 4 sale, she went wild, lol.

We both live here in Austin (northern, near Cedar Park) & would love 2 get a peak if we could. Not just kicking tires -- she just got her tax refund check & is ready 2 purchase if it's the right fit.

Hi there, who put the carpet in? How longstanding was the door leak, and were there any mold issues? Thanks.

I put the carpet in and the floor is great. No mold issues. The water never would get to the floor it would just have droplets on the inside if the door on the gel coat. Hard to explain but it wasn't that kind if leak. The floor is solid. I posted a pic.

Thanks Lisa. Sorry to be a pest, but how easy would it be to remove the carpet? It doesn't appeal to me, but what is under it, and is it glued down? Thanks a lot. :-)

It's not glued down. Just the fiberglass floor underneath.

Also I took another look underneath because I got a question about the floor. It's completely fiberglass underneath and topside. No wood anywhere and it's clean and dry.

It looks nice, Lisa. Why is she named the Beagle and how long have you had her? Did you ever use pesticides, mothballs, or significant air freshener (sprays, glade plugins)? If not, I will try to send a friend over, maybe you can PM me your #. I have a few friends in Austin as we stayed there for several months in 2010 (love hill country).
