Unique Fiberglass RV For Sale $1500

I have for sale an Apeco Small World. I purchased it to fix it up, but it is beyond my skill set. The interior was stripped when I bought it, cleaned it up, started on the floor and that is as far as I got. All of the windows and screens are there and in good working order. They do need to be resealed. The man door and screen are also in good working order. The rear door has been removed because the hinge was damaged. I do have a title, though I never titled it in my name. I did tons of research and was never able to find much if any information on the origins of the camper. I believe it was new in the mid 70s and the Apeco company did not stay in the RV business long. It is located in NW Indiana. I am asking$750.00 OBO was $1500.00 OBO.

This would be a really cool platform for someone that wants to take their toys with them and camp.

That was exactly my thought when I purchased it! Plus it was just so retro I could not resist. my intentions were to reverse the hinge on the rear door so it would fold up and act as an awning for a screened in seating area.

Like Roy said, too many projects already. Otherwise, I would consider this. Do you still have the rear door?

Jamie, what are the specifications of the trailer (weight, length, height, width)?
Does it have rubber torsion axles or leaf springs? What size tires are used, and are there brakes?

I will get exact measurements and answer Dave and Paula's questions this evening. I have an general idea of the interior dimensions. It is a little odd to measure due to the front end coming to a point. The general interior dimensions I was have are 13' long by 7' wide by 6' high.
I will not be able to provide a weight. I can tell you this, I have a 6 cyl, manual trans Jeep Wrangler and it tows like a dream behind it. When I purchased it last spring, I pulled it aprox 60 miles home and have never had to put air in the tires.

We are used to getting lengths from the rear bumper to the front hitch.

As roy suggested, i measured from the length from the tip of the hitch to the back bumper. It is 19'.
The height from the ground to the highest point is 7'3"
It is 7'1" wide.
The tire size is F78-15ST.
It has leaf springs.
And unfortunately, i have not been able to get under it to check the brakes. If it does have them, they do not work right now because the wiring has to be redone.

Nice Trailer

Hi JamieC

First is your trailer still for sale?

If it is can you show me the back door, the opening and tell me how long it is and how much it weighs?

Also, how good or bad are the tires?

Thank you,

Roux 'b Doux

Thank You all for your interest. The camper sold this weekend to a fellow Fiberglass RV member. Hopefully they will post pics when it is all fixed up.
