Here is one that is not recorded in our Photo Gallery. I have seen these before and they are definitely a moulded fiberglass shell.
I believe it is 2 halves joined on the centre / vertical seam as are Burros and EggCampers. The unit for sale is about 22 feet in length. This brand was also made in a 27 and a 30 foot model for about a year or year and a half. I do have a brochure showing the floor plans and general specs for the 30 and the 27.

Hi Charlie,
I couldn't use that link because it's requesting a province and I guess I am selecting the wrong one. I hate when websites use cookie based links.

Or choose any province, leave the window open, then click the link above again, at least that worked for me.

If it were an XP instead of a Vista the link would probably work...

Excellent response, perhaps it should be posted in the jokes forum so more people will see it and enjoy the humour.

I think this is the understatement of the year. It took over 3 minutes after the window declared "Done" for the image to appear for me. Could this be a function of the ad using Adobe Flash Player? I could not "capture" the image.

Yeah, it's Flash. It downloaded really quick for me. Naner, naner, naner. I grabbed the images for Roger for the albums using SnagIt.

Thanks for sharing Charlie The images I downloaded for the album were huge, so I couldn't post them. Roger will need to resize, but I wanted to give him the best quality possible.

I saw one of these last August. It was being stored in a campground on the Ga coast. I noticed it right away for its molded front. As I walked around it, I realized that the construction included flat fiberglass panels. The front and rear panels were molded for sure, but most of the body and roof used joined, flat panels; not two halves. We may want to do a little more research on this one.
It is an engaging design. I found myself going back to look at it several times during my stay. Very disappointed that I didn't get to see inside. I guess I'll have to hitch up and head back to the beach for a better look!

I actually saw an Award the other day in th central valley.
The Vista differs in that there does not appear to be a seam at the roof/side edge. On the Award, the transition is quite obvious.
This one does not seem to have a seam... tho, granted, it appears to be the same shape and styling of an Award.

A little history lesson on Trailers built near the north shore of Lake Erie.............
Award trailers were built in this area from 1982 until after 1996. Then again from (I think) 2000 to 2005. They were built in various combinations of aluminum and fiberglass sections.
During the intervening period some of the former employess recognized the value of the design of the Award Trailer and started their own company to build a moulded fiberglass trailer in the design of the Award. Some models were a single mould and some were a 2 part vertical seam mould. As far as I have been able to find out, Vista trailers were built as 1998 and 1999 models, and there may have been a few produced as 2000 year models.
At the 1999 Trailer show in Toronto, I spent time talking with an owner or executive of the Vista plant, who showed me quite a picture album of the build process for these trailers.
Although Vista and Award look very similar in many respects, and were built in the same region, they are 2 totally different units made by different processes by different manufacturers.
The Award is basically a sticky.
The Vista is a moulded fiberglass trailer on a very close or equal status of the Bigfoot.

Wow, my apologies, Charlie! Obviously, it must have been an Award I saw last year.
The Vista is clearly a very innovative improvement on a great design. I would love to see one! The ad says 2300 lbs. That's a lot of real estate for the weight. Thanks for the clarification, Charlie and Gina.
