Did you need to paint the holes left over from the Stinky? If so what did you use to match?
No Carol, I didn't paint the plugs. Although I could... they're pretty small. Actually now look more like smushed bugs from towing! I don't find the look to be distracting. Although I have thought about covering the patch with some decals. How about some bullet holes?

Thanks Donna, now all I have to do is wait for it to get warm enough to actually do some work outside. Snow again this morning and the white stuff from the big Christmas storm is still with us.
I could *really* use a nice hot beach someplace about now!

Funny the reason I haven't taken my broken Stinky Slinky holder off is I was worried about what to do with the holes!!!
Or you could add a shelf using the same holes like I did in my Fiber Stream.

What a creative idea Frederick. Love it but the Scamp has bunks running across the front so a shelf would stop the top bunk from being put down.

You got me thinking though. Perhaps I could use the holes to hang a net for storage there. That could be emptied when we want to put the bunk down. Will have to take a closer look. hummm.

That's a great idea!

With the bunk down, on mine there is about 2" at the top for the wood support and 4" at the bottom for the banana cushion. That would be a great spot for a net or bag to hang the bunk supports and a few other things like the umbrella or rain coats.

Now I've got some to do some conceptualizing.

Edit to add => Thanks Carol, I now know what I am going to do on the rear window as well. Make a pocket that hangs from the wood ledge for the table to hold things like books and eye glasses while in bed.

John, I'm new to the site. Just purchased a '78 scamp and I'm in need of a Aluminum 2-element base plate for the rear taillight. I have the square taillight and was wondering since you replaced yours, if you still have and would like to sell the aluminum base plate? Thank you. Jackie

Brandy, I have a tail lens cover that matches yours that you can have. I just replaced all the lights on my 1977 scamp with new led lights. I checked your photo and it matches the ones from mine. I'm pretty new to this site, so not really sure about how messaging works. If you can message me with contact info, we can get this in the mail to you this week. John Hunt.

Which LED's did you use?

You're entry is just below. I have the square ones that the original post had or has. I'm thinking of switching on our '76 trailer. Which LED tailights did you decide to use on your trailer?
Thank you.

Mike
