wanted - tangential blower for heater

Hi - anyone know of a source for a 12v tangential (cross flow) blower to replace a worn out one in a Trav'ler Duette stove heater? I've tried the salvage yards and parts houses from the Resources links.

But did you try RV Dr George? I don't even know what you're talking about, so certainly can't help. Do you know what other brands/makes of trailers, etc. that may have used the Duette stove/heater? There may be a way to track down info through that...

I went to the Document Center in order to link to the Duette range owner's manual, but it's gone.

The Amerigo also used the Trav'ler Duette combo range-heater.

Which, the manual, the range or the Doc center?

Is this it?

Yes, that's the manual.
I was looking under "Stoves and Ovens"

Hummm, once upon a time it was actually linked in both places since it's a multi-purpose appliance.

Hi, Donna - Yes I tried the good Dr. I bought the stove from him a year ago.

Had a bad experience and will not be using the good Dr. any more, hence the request for a 2nd opinion .

I talked to one of the interns and explained that I didn't want to replace the whole fan, only the grommet that holds the blower to the motor. He said they had the part, no price given, would hold it for three days (I was going to be near Sacramento). When I got there (50 mile detour) the Dr. would only sell the entire blower assembly and asked $100 for it .

I know that if I can find a heat resistant 12v blower I can replace the old one for a lot less than $100. Just need a source.

Also - Matt for the link to the manual - I, like Frederick, could not find it - it wasn't where it was, so to speak.
