Does anyone have a spare banana cushion they could part with?

Another thought if you don't find a used one: You can buy foam and it cuts like butter with an electric carving knife.

I owned my trailer for a couple of years before I had even heard of a banana cushion... mine didn't have one and still doesn't. I just crammed a couple of rolled towels into the area when needed. The front bunk area has been modified now and doesn't need a banana cushion.

I am willing to consider improvising something, but this will be my son's sleeping area so I want it to be comfy. He's not an "easy sleeper" and would probably complain about a very uneven surface.
