After posting this, I got an Pm from someone who asked if I thought that this one and the other Mity Lite are the same trailer? And could this be a scam? I don't think so, but I certainly don't know. I looked over very well even before posting, but then went back and put the pic's side by side. Several differences that make me think it's not. The home that the trailers sit in front of are different. (With most scams I have seen it usually is the same pic's). The trailer wheels are different ( which is certainly easy to change) But then look at the little running lights (high up) front, on one but not the other. So honestly I can't tell you one way or another. Just know that these are rare rare 4 sales, Robin

I called one seller and am trying to get a hold of the other.

And there's a little kid on this one!! (LOL)

Seriously, that means one in BC, one in Reno, and one in CA. Wowsir!!!

Edit: I don't know--now that I look at both the pics, I get a "proceed with caution" feeling.

On Wednesday I looked at the Mity Lite for sale in Sacramento.
I believe this one in Fallon NV is the same trailer.
Both have two identical modifications. This first is the combination motorcycle rack/storage box welded to the rear bumper. The second modification is an additional brake light mounted above the storage box (viewable next to the child's head) The wiring for the added brake light is viewable as a black cord running down the interior rear wall.
The seller in Sacramento was not the registered owner/PTI title holder....... so buyer beware.

Neil, the one in Sac, sold to a member from here. He has it home and in his garage! Seems happy as a clam!

Heres a link to the post started by the new owner! He loves it! Mity Lite New owners post

Neil (or anyone else),

I'm curious what "PTI" stands for here. Tried to look up the acronym but came up blank.

Thanks,
Raya

Raya -

PTI is a California designation for "Permanent Trailer Identification". Trailers that have a PTI license plate do not need a tag and do not need to be registered every year. One pays the initial fee and then renews the PTI every ten years for a very minimal fee. Only small trailers qualify for the PTI program, but all the FG trailers I am aware of meet the criteria. It is a great program.

Thanks, Jake. I'd heard of the permanent trailer plates in California, but didn't connect that with "PTI." Now I know!

I wonder if it really was a scam/problem or if all is fine with it. I know someone on the forum bought it (the California one, which apparently in person had some of the same unique features as the one is the photos of this one).

I do own the mystery trailer.

That is indeed the same trailer. It was in Nevada and then sold/given to the friends in California to use. They made more money on it as I bought it for $2700. I did not see the Nevada ad. I only saw the Ca. ad. The pictures have all the same features that mine has. It is my camper. I wish I had seen the Nevada ad. But I wouldn't have driven that far to look at it or get it.

I do like my trailer though. The title was not clear as the second person did not sign it yet. So I have it going through DMV now. so far no problems for a new title. Good sluething guys.
