no problem. a limberjack is a little dancing doll made of wood with jointed arms and legs. he is mounted on a stick. you sit on a thin piece of wood under your leg on a chair. hold the limberjack so his feet touch the wood. as you tap the wood he dances a jig. i'm sure you have seen them, if not you tube probably has videos of them.

the gee haw whimsy doodle is even easier to explain. its a propeler on the end of a piece of dowel rod, the rod has notches along the side of it. you rub another stick along the notches and the propeler spins.

the trick is,,,like with a mule,,you stomp your right foot and holler "gee" and when you rub it the propeller spins to the right. (in mule talk gee means go right)
then you stomp your left foot and holler "haw" (mule talk for go left) and sure enough the propeller spins to the left.
totaly mesmerising to a kid. the trick is the way you hold you fingerstouch one side of the stick and it spins right, the other side it spins left.
i imagine there is some engineer that can explain why,,,,i just know it does.
