logs, leather and horns

Hi folks. Anyone out there build with logs or sticks? I also enjoy building historically accurate powder horns and shooting bags for muzzel loaders. Recently I've started bulding stick furniture which I find very enjoyable. And it looks cool! I'm more of a wood guy than anything else. I have a fare collection of usable primitive wood working tools. I've always enjoyed old tools and old skills.

lol sounded like you were into roping as a hobby, they use a log with horns lashed to it for practice.

i make yard things with lashed branches, bird feeders,trelises, fencing(wattle fence) a nice nook with a bench in it i am growing grape vines to cover for shade.
have made some furniture in the past and it was enjoyable

Hi there John. Thanks for the response. Sounds like you keep yourself pretty busy in the yard creating. I have a small workshop with to much stuff in it that keeps me busy also. Noooope..not a roper. Just another wood butcher.....r
