Music Festivals

Does anyone know of any interesting music events in the Northeast?

My goals this year are to take strip to Tanglewood to see A Mid-Summer Nights Dream, and to take in some live music-- preferably outdoors wher I can bring my dogs.

I attend music festivals where on the west coast that are 2 to 3 days in duration and they have dry camping but not of them permit or want dogs at the festival as they would have to be left on there own in the camping area and are not permitted in the festival seating area.

I miss the festivals and especially the bluegrass festivals. This comes with an admission that I have only a very small amount of love for bluegrass. I play mandolin and other mandolin family instruments while playing mostly classic country from the 40s ,50s, Honkey Tonk, and soft rock when not playing classical.
Nothing like a bluegrass festival to bring out the pickers! The audience often has musicians with skills to rival some of those being paid to play. Read me JAM, JAM, AND MORE JAM.
A great festival takes place the end of August in Manchester Center, Vermont. The Green Mountain Roots & Bluegrass Festival. Wonderful festival (excluding 2020). Last time there in 2019 when it was in the 90s everyday and only dropped into the 80s at night. Don't let Vermont's nudity laws fool you. People, to my amazement, failed to shed their cloths regardless of how uncomfortably hot it was and my wife and I had no desire to be the only ones.

Looks like dogs are not allowed at Tanglewood. It's about a half hour from us.

Sounds interesting. Only about 3 or 4 hours from Pittsburgh. What is the predominate genre of music? I know if it is old time or bluegrass it will attract many pickers amongst the campers. Not my favorite, but I certainly appreciate an abundance of fine musicians to jam with.
