Trailer: 84 16 ft Scamp
Posts: 725
Our first was a Compact Jr, then upgraded to a 21 ft Streamline when our first child was born, then to a 26 ft Avion when the kids got bigger. Now that they're on their own we bought a 16 Scamp and find that the Scamp goes and the Avion, which we still have, stays.

I am itching to buy another Trillium. Randy Bishop is kinda my hero! I have a lonely 4500 with a front gaucho. After the frame rejuvenation and paint to match the TV, it will be more or less done. I want at least two more 4500's.

The next one I want will have a front bath. I don't like the factory one with a sink, bench, and no shower. I want one more like the front bath on today's scamp. Toilet and shower and a closet near the door. The kitchen sink is close enough to wash my hands in. I hope to find a botched reno job, with the gaucho destroyed. Hopefully for cheep and do it right. This would be the trailer my wife and I would take when we leave the kids behind.

The next trailer after the front bath room, would ideally be a front dinette 4500. More likely though will be a 19' Bigfoot tandem axle. I love the layout! Bath room in the back corner, storage in the back and a bench / bed with a SMALL fold out bunk / cupboard above, and a front dinette / bed. Good for socializing and sleeps 6, (sort of). We are 7, but there is still floor space.

Actually, if I could find a ruined Trillium 5500 like this:
http://www.fiberglassrv.com/forums/f...0-a-29441.html
Add the tandem axle, then I would like to duplicate the floor plan of the 19' Bigfoot in a trillium. This would involve removing and glassing over the rear window assembly and the road side rear window. Because the windows go so high, the fold down bunk would require some thought.

I dream in technicolor.

I currently have three. Two Trillium Jubilees and a Trillium 1300. Current plan calls for the completion of the upgrades and sell two of them and get back to one unit.
Hope to gain a little more time for more camping and other pursuits.

My wife accused me of that when I had two last summer, so I sold the 13'.. Now I am looking for another 13 "project" type (aka very cheap, but can be pretty rough)

We have 3 campers, a 1973 Starcraft popup that we bought in '78, a 1946 teardrop that we have owned for 4 years, and the '84 Uhaul that we just bought 4 months ago. Won't part with any of them! Also have 4 utility trailers, 2 home made, a 1980 Coleman versa, and a 1946 Bantam.

What's with all these teardrop people buying fiberglass campers, "movin' on up" like the Jeffersons. We use both.

I'm very excited to know that I am normal! I still tent but I currently have a 1991 Scamp 13ft., 2006 Fleetwood Neon popup (only has one bed end), and up till this past August a 1973 Sprite Alpine. In total since 2001 I've owned 6 trailers. Shoot put this way and averaged, I'm actually behind. My husband says I'm nuts.

Ummm.... ..... I currently have six Trillium trailers. I might have a problem.

I still look to Randy Bishop to help me look .... well normal isn't the right word, but he has six Trilliums, and three other trailers, if you don't count the boat trailers.

If I had the land (and money) I'd collect trailers and outfit them much like this Tiny House Hotel in Portland, Oregon https://tinyhousehotel.com/ or like this Caravan Hotel Concept – Fubiz.
