What do you mean by shell?
Like anything else used,
What the sellar is willing to let it go for
what the buyer is willing to pay
It would depend so much on your abilities
How much is it going to cost you to get it to a useable condition
compared to the cost of buying one ready to use.
Do you enjoy the work of reno
there is a LOT of hours in rebuilding these little trailers.

I agree with what Fred said, plus it will also depend on what you want in your finished trailer, there is a huge difference in renovation price between a bare bones rebuild, a stock rebuild, a fully loaded or a custom show unit.

On a Saturday morning in the spring of 2012 a 13' Scamp shell was listed on the Des Moines, IA craigslist for $600. It was gone in less than 2 hrs. I was disappointed because basically all I wanted was a tent on wheels. I have MS and can't move very well anymore. A pop-up would probably be too much work for me. Point is $600 is not enough if you're selling, and a steal if you're buying.

Although prices vary and deals can still be found the prices of most FGRVs have increased substantially since 2012, no matter what condition they are in.

Smile WHATS IT WORTH ?

W ell if I could find a good or fixable shell within say i days drive , I go and see it and would be willing to pay up to $900/1000 .
I would like to know what other people would pay for say a Boler , Trillium or similar to fix up. People on this site don't seem to want to talk about money,
That's just what I think, but then I'am just a old man .

I paid 1200 for a fixer in 2003 and prices have been going up since then!

There's a FG shell on a brand new frame (windows are out, and empty interior) for sale near me, on Craigslist. Been available for several months @ $1500 with no takers.

I think if it still had the interior and windows installed, even with a decrepit frame it would have been gone by now.
