Cancellations & Looking for Sites

Hello All,
We have never attended the Oregon Gathering, but it looks like we are going to need to cancel our reservation for this year. We are in loop C, number C39 for the nights of July 16, 17, 18, 2009.

We wish we could come, but another obligation has come up. We hope someone else can enjoy this campsite. It is near to a bathroom. I have paid the reservation fee plus one night at $20.00. The remaining $40 to be paid at check in. I'd like to get my money back.

B-31 is available!

Forgive me if this is a repeat. I am writing on behalf of Karen Langlois, she reserved this site for me, and I have a conflict. Karen said she posted this, but I can't find it here, so thought I'd repeat the news. Karen says:

"I have a site available..B31 which I made for Cory H....She is unable to go, so I posted the cancellation..It starts July 16, Thursday & goes until Sunday July 19..I need to be paid for it, $26.00 & 1/2of the $6.00 reservation fee...my e-mail is langlois.karen5[at]gmail.com or you can leave a message on FRv..Karen l "

We have managed to secure the site we originally wanted due to cancellation. We also have a site reserved on A Loop #52 that we will not be using. Due to work (or not enough work), we won't be making the 2500 mile trip to Oregon this year. Our site, A-18, is reserved from July 6 to the 20th. Gal is very sad she can't run on the beach this summer.

I gave up my site A-18 for a fellow FGRV'er but he took another site instead. Someone should check and see if A-18 is still available, as it is a very nice site.
