Gift Baskets:

For anyone who wants to give a little something to the Oregon Gathering -- I recommend assembling a regional gift basket to contribute to the potluck giveaways. S&I gave a basket last year and had a great time gathering the contents: a bottle of Silverfalls wine, Mt. Angel mustard, cloth napkins hand made in Sublimity, Detroit Lake State Park coffee cups, regional camping information, etc. It's a great opportunity to become an ambassador for your area. With spring approaching, consider a regional gift basket a fun project to begin now.

Just wrap your basket in a sheet of colored plastic and label it with your name, region, and a list of contents. We will set up a table at the registration table to collect your baskets -- and come to the potluck and maybe you too will go home with something special.

Enjoy, D

This is a great idea - I will certainly bring a goodie basket from the great white north.

Thumbs down

Garmin has generously donated a Nuvi 760 to the giveaway This unit has a widescreen and is loaded with just about every feature. I'll be bringing it down with us (but I'll keep in new in the box and use my own Garmin to find my way to Bullards)

You can check it out at nuvi 760 or check out all of Garmin's GPS units for automotive, outdoor/fitness, aviation, and marine products at www.garmin.com.

-Isaac

I'll be bringing a goodie basked from Bigfoot Country, local wine, t-shirt, book, postcards, etc. and be glad to add to the donation list. Marg

John and I (in lucky site A16) were the happy winners of the Garmin in 2007. Isaac, it is terrific that you have arranged for another lucky "egger" to have a Garmin! We had no idea how great they were until we won it last year. Boy, have we had fun with it! We have become shamelessly dependant on it.
In appreciation for your wonderful gift, I have made a small (egg size) bed quilt for this year's give away. Maybe you will win it Isaac.
Cheers, Louise B

I'd be happy to bring a basket. Does it have to be regional? I've got something else in mind... But I can easily do regional if that's what you'd like.

Lisa it can be anything you have in mind. Regional is a good idea because folks get to share a little bit of home with others. But, if you wish to do something else, it would be equally welcomed.

Count me in to bring something.
Perhaps an 'Alberta' basket or some other type of item for a door prize - not sure what yet.

No problem, Domenica and Sheila. Like I said it will be fun to come up with something Colorado-ish.
