Each year we do a free give-away drawing on Saturday night after dinner. Everyone's site number is put into a basket and we draw for prizes. We usually have 60+ give-aways. Can you bring something for the Gathering Give-Away? Here are some ideas:
  • Regional Basket or Box: All the things from around where you live.
  • Basket or Box Camping-Theme
  • Basket or Box Hobby Theme: games, eating, gourmet food, etc.
  • Bring a duplicate of the item you use most when camping
  • Ask for a donation from a local business
  • Ask for a donation from a corporation
  • Ask for a donation from a local camping store

Please list here what you would like to bring to donate.

Norma and I will have a basket to give away again this year.
The creative one is at a quilting class & I'm on the road, so I'm not sure what the theme will be

We are working a 3 baskets similar to what we brought last year; a people basket, a cat basket, and of course a dog basket.
Looking forward another year of great fun and new and old friends.

Lynn and Max (the dog) and I will bring a gift basket from our area with some delicious treats (I promise NO algae from Klamath Lake!). Max has already chosen a couple of really neat pine cones from the yard, and we're going to build around that theme, maybe some Oregon grape or blackberry jams, scones, etc.

Here are some wood bowls I have made. Take your two best picks and I will bring those two along to the Gathering.

#3 is a Maple Vase (but never put any liquid in it!)

#5 is a bowl turned from a branch crotch. It is two branch "hearts" in each side, since the two branches actually grew together.

I have turned another winged bowl which I will bring along as a third prize for the raffle. This one is a Teak Winged bowl, made from a 6" x 12" board, only
1-1/4" thick.

Here are some photos of it:
