First, thank you to everyone who attended the Oregon Gathering and especially to those who spent so much time getting everything prepared before the gathering and during the gathering. We had a great time and look forward to seeing everyone and thier trailers again next year.

Nancy, thank you for taking time during the potluck dinner to have Barak (my 5 year old son) show off the Lego Scamp that he made. He is normally a very shy guy and I don't know anybody else who he'd do that for other than you. You are awesome. And thank you to everyone who praised and encouraged him. That was an incredibly positive experience that he will remember for the rest of his life. My wife and I are so proud of him.

While I was up there with him, my wife was choking back tears and forgot that we had a camera tucked away, so we didn't get any pictures of him up there. If anyone happened to get some shots of Barak and his Scamp, can you please send them my way? I'd greatly appreciate it.

Isaac, There is a closeup of the Smallest Scamp in the official pictures page. Take a look at the thread "2007 Gathering Pictures Posted on watsonmountain.com, The Official Pictures". Click on the link and look at the Saturday pictures, your son and the Lego Scamp are picture #5.

Isaac,
We loved the presentation of Barak's smallest Scamp model. I almost yelled out, "but does he have the same skills to back it up an park it as his DAD?!" I had to hold back...didn't want to take away from his moment and only you would know what I was referring to, anyway!
I wanted to inform you that you received the BEST Trailor GOOD Samaritan AWARD! Thank you again, for being so gracious and very flexible by jumping into my Subaru and backing my sweet retro Compact II into my new camp site across from the B loop bathroom!
Hopefully, when I see you guys again, I will have improved my camping skills.

Hi Gina,

Thank you for posting the pictures of Barak. Awe...proud dad, proud dad, proud dad. I also got the one Mike posted on his awesome Meet page.

Hi Barbara...You are welcome. Thanks for letting me help you with the kids there. I'm trying to teach them to always take the time to help out other people because others always take the time to help us. You've got a great little setup to backup. It just takes a bit of practice. Pilons are a great thing to set up to use to practice with 'cause they don't break anything if you hit them! Barak is my helper for backing the trailer. He hops out and directs me to where I need to put the trailer. As soon as his legs get long enough to reach the pedals, I'll have to let him try the "big" truck.

Isaac, would you like a full-size digital picture of what I put on the webpage? If so just let me know by sending me an email directly at mike@watsonmountain.com. I will send it to you on your personal email. I don't want to fill up your email on the fiberglass rv site and take up Mike's precious space on his server.
