2nd new scamp arrived!! ( followup to delivery debackle)

Yea!

Our new 13' arrived unscathed this time
(See previous post about hitches and covers that devolved into my delivery issue with scamp).
It didn't arrive on a flatbed :0/ but at least it was in one piece

It was missing the bike hitch we ordered but at least I can be sure they didn't just repair the previous one that was gashed during scamp's delivery to portland! Ha! (They sent a check back for the price of the hitch and I think we're a little embarrassed about a second issue. )

Glad they replaced it quickly with a new trailer.

ANYWAY!! We've got our new egg tucked in the driveway under her ebay cover with her trimax ball hitch/coupler lock and the trimax wheel/ chock lock.

My uhaul sits behind a fence that I have to take the six foot panel fence. There is no door on the fence and I remove the panel to get out. The things we do to make sure our campers stay put.

Gillian, I bet you're beyond ecstatic after the earlier problems. If you're looking to ADD a hitch to the rear to carry bikes, I'd suggest making the purchase from Orbital, they're members of FiberglassRV: Our new webstore is open and a direct link to their website displaying the Scamp receiver hitch: Scamp Travel Trailer Products

How exciting this time for sure!
Looks like it won't be going anywhere soon and no one is even getting a peek that it is under there. Congratulations.

Nope, you'd have to check with Orbital, but since it bolts to both the frame AND the bumper, it's probably stout. I bought one at Christmas time (Merry Christmas to me!), I don't plan on using it to haul a bike, I have other things in mind. But, it's still in the box!

Back to your regularly scheduled thread...
