a new Scamp owner

We just took delivery on our new 13' Scamp in late March. We have traditionally been tent campers, but I am getting way too old to sleep on the ground and walk across the campground to the toilet at 3 AM with the dogs in tow! We decided to make the leap and become "Scampers". Looking forward to getting to know the trailer, and having lots of fun on the road! Hopefully we don't become too annoying, cause I know we will have thousands of questions. I just keep thinking...everyone was a rookie at some point, right?

Congrats guys, the start of many fun memories! Do you know about the Oregon get togethers? The NOG's and the Oregon Coast Gathering. Plus there are get togethers in Washington.

Happy Trails!
Kathie

Happy for you!

I own a Scamp and every yr I learn more about how things work and what I really need to take with me. Backing into a camp site is a challenge, but I got better each time. The small trailer turns really quickly. good Luck with all your adventures.
I added electric brakes first thing, love them.

Judy,
Congrats on the new scamp. I know you and family and the four-foots will love it. And yes, we all were rookies My wife and I also moved up from tenting and bought our scamp 13 three years ago and it was our first RV experience. This forum was (and remains) invaluable in getting us on the right track moving up the FGRV learning curve. We aren't experts by any means but definitely have learned a lot from the forum and three years experience. Don't hesitate to ask all your questions - lots of folks happy to share their knowledge.
