Aloha

Aloha from Hawaii,
I have been learning as much I can from all the websites and forums about fiberglass RVs. I've been a backpacker most of my outdoor life, but become a mom recently (later in life). So this progression to a fiberglass RV (specifically Scamps) seemed natural as they are lightweight, and backpacking you're always aware of the weight of things.

It was a challenge finding what I was looking for in my price range, and doing it from Hawaii, where there isn't any Rv-ing at all. No chance of a Scamp siting/tour here!!

I'm proud to say, thanks to the help of these forums, and fiberglassrv4sale .com I have found and purchased my new baby! I am the proud new owner of a 2007 19' Scamp standard. I'm over the moon...

The wonderful sellers FaceTimed with me for the tour. We came to and agreement on how to handle payment, and they even delivered it to my brother in Fargo ND. I will be there in a week to actually touch her!! I've never even seen one in the "wild". Thank you to everyone here I've learned so much from these forums so far, and have a lot to continue learning and experience in the RV world. My Scamp will remain in ND with my family so that I can use her there, and begin my RV travels from Fargo, with my little kids and their cousins.

Congrats! I was going to ask you how you intended to get it to Hawaii before I read your entire post. That can't be cheap! Safe travels.
