Hey, my partner and I bought a
boler last summer and this year started the repair/rebuilt process.
I regret not finding a site like this before we purchased this trailer and knowing more of the red flags before purchasing....I have started the learning process and am getting the
boler bug... but am also feeling overwhelmed by the magnitude of this project.
Many poor renos and what where they thinking moments so far! The more I learn the more there is to fix and the list keeps growing. Tops of the list, repair the saging left wall, the Crack above the door, strip the horrible body filler job on the exterior (which is up to 1 inch thick in places to cover up structural damage) and do a lot of reading about
fiberglass repair.
I want to do a proper job of it and will need some advise along the way!
My first major issue to tackle is the sagging and dimpling on the exterior left wall. The kitchen cabinet is of level by an inch, leaning out. Partial cause by the lack of supports in place, maybe an accedent or when it was moved onto the new frame by a previous owner.
Would love if someone could direct me to a blog feed on these or similar issues.
I'll include some pictures of my sad little
boler in the near future.
Thanks
Erik
