Bonair 1300 1986

Just stumbled on Bonair fiberglass trailer. Rookie to camping and have been. Looking for a 13 ' fiberglass for nearly a year.
Viewed today, deposit placed, love to hear from any Bonair owners. (Not the Oxygen model)
Excited:

I'm really curious... All of the internal and external searches I did turned up a stick-built trailer. Do you have a picture of this molded fiberglass Bonair 1300?

This is the only internal reference I could unearth:

This is what a Google image search turned up (along with a lot of Oxygens):

Well, it's certainly not molded fiberglass, but that's an amazingly clean and original little trailer you've got there! Someone has really taken care of this gem. I love the jalousie windows. Enjoy!

No, not fiberglass. That's a corrugated aluminum skin over a wood frame, classic stick-built construction.

Some "stickies" are slap-up jobs and quickly fall apart; others are built well in small shops and can last for years with proper maintenance. I don't know if it's the same company that made the molded Oxygen in the early 2000's, but perhaps someone else knows more. If not here, then a general RV forum or vintage canned ham group might have the information you seek.

It appears to be in great shape, but check carefully for water damage at the top corners inside cabinets. Once it starts, it's really hard to stop. If it's good, keep up maintenance on those seams, store covered if possible, and you can get many years of use.

It looks like a very nice layout for two people (and a small child on the overhead bunk).

I believe the Oxygen was Bonair's one and only molded fiberglass model. The rest of their products were conventional construction.

It does look nice.

I have the same information for Bonair and Oxygène.
Bonair would have manufactured between 2001-2, 90 units of Oxygene.
In 2003 declared bankruptcy after the fire of the manufacturing plant.

This is what I found as a story about Oxygen.
