Bought my first Scamp!

After much searching, I managed to get my hands on a 1976 Scamp 13'. It needs a bit of work; A partial rear floor, all new electrical, some fiberglass repair, paint, a window and a ton of cleaning. I can't wait to use it!

I think it should look interesting behind my truck....

Congratulations!
Looks almost identical to our 77 scamp, except for the windows. I think mine had been cleaned more recently than yours. I just got done scrubbing the inside, will be putting new seam tape from the scamp store on soon. Except around windows, must fix window leaks first. We should swap notes as we go. I have a thread like this one where I'm tracking my progress.
Refurbishing my 77 Scamp

those cushions remind me of some curtains my grandma had years ago, then passed down to mom. I am so glad you were brave enough to take on one in need of some love. Congratulations, it's going to be a labor of love.

Are you going to go with a camo paint job for the scamp?

Thought about it, then remembered how easy it is to loose the Blazer at night.

I was thinking that it would be white on top with Ford tractor blue under the belt.

Cushions?
You mean the yellow mold sacks?
The replacements from Scamp are expensive to say the least.

Just got mine today too! 95' 13 Scamp! I noticed yours doesn't seem to have the "rat fur" interior. I want to remove mine. Does anyone have any suggestions. I live in sunny California and nit worried about it getting too cold in there. Congrats to you!!

The older scamps had a heavy grained vinyl insulation instead of the "rat fur".
Thebare fiberglass isn't pretty. I wouldnt reccomend removing the fabric.
