I can tell you about the
EggCamper but not the
Scamp except to say that any
Scamp I've seen feels cramped inside compared to the
EggCamper which is a bit taller and wider inside. I think probably it's that way because the designer/company owner is about 6'4" tall. Also the toilet /shower is in the front while the dinette is on the side. The dinette will sleep one. We bought our
EggCamper as all electric and just had a
furnace & cooktop installed for use in colder weather or where no electric is available. The factory did have a
propane option but there have been some reports that
propane is no longer available. It tows very well. We've towed with a Chrysler minivan, (V6), a Chevy pickup (V8), and now a Buick Enclave (V6). Pretty much the same mpg no matter the tow vehicle. If you've looked at the EggCamper website and still have questions, give Jim Palmer, company owner, a call and ask your questions. All that said, Scamp is a well regarded product and the owners seem happy with them.
