Greetings and Salutations!

My name is Noel but everyone calls me Toca! I restored a 86 Casita 6yrs ago. Fully guttted, floor repaired, new cabinet doors and holding tank covers, stainless rivets, nuts and washers. Installed a carb/minox. alarm, dual 6v batteries inside of self contained battery boxes w/ venturi effect air (battery fumes) removal, air bubble/ aluminum backed side wall insulation and new interior fabric (to add insulatory effect). It stays around 10 to 15 degrees cooler inside as long as windows are covered. I took me for an 8000mi. road trip all over these United States (now, there's an oximoron for ya!). That was BEFORE the restoration. In fact, I picked it up in Ohio and just hauled it aroung the U.S. It was not in such great shape as today but it got me to where I wanted to go. It turned out to be a most amazing journey. I have pictures of before and after and progressives. If I get some time I'm thinking of documenting the build here on FGRV.com. Keep your eyes peeled for the Post!

Welcome to FGRV forum family.....family loves pictures. I always like to use a trailer for a while to know how I would like to make changes to fit our style of travel.

Toca, WOW! sounds impressive. No pics, no proof!

Would love to hear about any changes you made to the floor plan during your remodel.

Welcome to the FG community.

Welcome Toca, good post. You don't know how refereshing it is to have someone post "Greetings and Salutations" and then not ask to buy our RV's.
