Hi were are the new owners of our first FGRV. Ours new addition is a 1976 Triple-E Surf Side TM-14. We will be doing a complete gut and restore of this neglected 40-year-old classic, including re-designing the interior and adding some sweet new technology features.
Started very ugly after being in the bush for 15 years and having a bad encounter with a falling tree.
After a power wash on the exterior, things looked a little more encouraging.

Poor thing, but we've seen worse come back to life!

Just a hint, your trailer has a lockset that's no longer made and parts are next to impossible to find if it ever needs to be fixed. IF you're planning on a paint job, now would be the time to change that lock to something current and available. You could probably sell that lockset for enough money to do a lot of your planned mods.

Big project, but I'm sure it can be done. Get the safety stuff done first and then you can go camping. That will also help you figure out just what you want and/or need for the kind of camping you plan to do. It already looks better after a good wash! Good luck and keep those pictures of your progress coming!
