Greetings from Poland!

My name is Paul and my wife is Anna. We come from Poland, here we live, work and grow up our two sons: Patrick and Jacob.
Here we have built our home and here we've got passionate about fiberglass.
We own a trailer, brand: Niewiadow n126e (CADET), that we have renovated by ourselves. We would like to share with you the experience and observations that we have gathered during our renovation but we are also interested in new ideas and your opinions.
We like your trailers very much, but they are hardly to find in our country and that's a real pity.

Regards to everyone!

Welcome Paul, if you think your trailer is hard to find in your country you should try finding one in North America! ;-)

There are a few folks here that are lucky enough to own a Cadet though. Although I haven't seen to many of them just this summer while traveling here in Canada, I saw two different ones. Very cool little trailers.

Welcome to FGRV!
I like your awning and am curious about how it is attached to the trailer.

Welcome to the forum, Paul & Anna!

We love participation from beyond North America, and look forward to hearing and seeing what you have done with your Cadet. We see a few of them over here. I recall last year someone was wanting help translating the written information on the fridge in their Cadet. We could have used your help!

Happy camping!

Paul and Anna, welcome! You have a nice trailer. I've only read about Cadets, but never saw one in person. I'm glad that you figured out how to send pictures. You'll get along fine with this group! Are fiberglass trailers popular in Poland?

We are glad you joined! You have a good brand of trailer.

My father's father came from Suwalki (Przejma) around 1890.

It appears there is a huge following for these trailers across the "pond". I wish I could speak Polish. My Father's family came from there in the late 1800's but the language was lost in the last 120 years. Soon after they arrived, English was the only language my Great, Great Grandfather allowed in the house. Forced assimilation was the norm back then.

Tom, a suggestion for you for a small business - many Cadet (ie, a Niewiadow trailer with a Canadian name put on it) owners have written on this forum about the difficulty and expense of buying spare parts, particularly the front and back windows. Therte may be enough old/disused Niewiadow trailers in Poland that you could sell used spare parts to Canadian and US owners.

It would sure be nice to take a trip over there... Not sure there if there would be enough demand to pay for the trip? Were these nice little trailers ever made in Canada, or just imported?

I found a link to the Niewiadow website in the manufactures page of this forum. It appears the company is very much alive and doing well.

Niewiadow - Main page
