Greetings from some new Midwestern Compact Jr owners

We just purchased our 1st fiberglass trailer, a Compact Jr., circa 1971. It seems pretty sturdy, has been maintained, and we want to 'improve' upon its appearance and usefulness. My grand design is to retrofit for solar, but I might be out-voted on this. Hoping for suggestions, warnings, encouragement, etc. This should be fun!

Hi Jan, welcome to FiberglassRV, we're glad you found us. I have no suggetions on solar as I don't have it, but I bet you'll get lots of help soon. Have any pictures you'd like to share for your new-to-you Compact Jr... and yourselves of course?

Cool

Welcome! I have totally gutted out my 1971 Compact Jr. Serial #0037

I am presently waiting for a good weekend to remove the axle so I can get measurements for brakes.

Thanks for all the welcomes, finally generated an album in the Compact Group (I think) with pics and possible plans. A work in progress, comments and suggestions welcome.

Just plob pics inside a thread... it's always nice to 'see' what you're talking about rather than flitting all over looking...
