Greetings from SW Washington!

Hello all, thanks for having me. We've recently acquired a 16' Casita. It's a 1996 with no bathroom/shower area (we really didn't want these facilities). It's got bunks in the nose, two seats with a side table opposite the "kitchen" area, and the typical dinette in the rear. In theory it sleeps five but, will handle our family of four quite nicely (reserving the top bunk for luggage). It appears to be in very good shape. The previous owner was a bit of a perfectionist and made some nice little mods and improvements to it.

It is being pulled by my 1995 Dodge 2500 with a Cummins. After buying it, on the way home I found it towed very nicely. Exact width as the truck (so no tow mirrors), tracks right in line with the drive axle when turning, and backs quite nicely. These are important aspects due to the type camping we do.

We are campers at heart. We love camping, it's how we spend our vacations. We "Dry Camp" or as some call it "Boondocking." I love to get away from cell phones, t.v., radio, traffic, and especially " the public" a couple times a year. We are tired of setting up tents in the pouring rain in the dark. If it's going to rain one day of any given summer? It's going to be when we are trying to set up camp. We basically wanted a "hard tent."
The relatively small size of these trailers is a must for us. We go down narrow, tree enshrouded, old dirt logging roads and paths. A high profile, wide, tall, "square" trailer would not make it.
It will be nice to open up new options to us. Like camping at the beach in the off season.

So anyway, having made a short story, long... I've got a ton of questions. However I'm going dig around and see if I can find answers before I ask the same tired questions again.

Welcome Jorah, if you can't find answers on other posts, ask away here. Someone will either direct you to what you want or tell you. Everyone is very helpful and patient with questions. Don't forget to check out the rallies for this year.

Very nice. The ones with no bathroom are not that common and perfect for a family with children.
Now you need to post some photos of it please.
