Hello...again

Is there a 12-step program for camper addiction? I probably started out with one that spoiled me a bit with Robert’s ‘Oops, I did it again...’ Boler. I sold that last year to try something different & picked up a 2013 Little Guy 5-Wide teardrop. It’s good-my girls & I took a 2500+ mile road trip through Utah to see the Mighty 5 with it in April. Unfortunately, for weekend trips up here in the PNW, having the option to cook inside is something I overlooked. So...I found an ‘82 Burro. It was a hunting camper and looked like it when I got it. I’ve spent hours cleaning & stripping a lot of the old stuff out but it’s a project I’m not sure I want to get in to. After the Boler, I realized I prefer a smooth interior-with minimal carpeting, rat fur, etc so the Burro/U-Haul, Trillium really catch my eye. Then last week I saw a beautiful 2-owner Click image for larger version

I’m not sure if I want to keep going on the Burro, my Little Guy is up for rent on Outdoorsy, and I’ll be cleaning up the Trillium this week to possibly take a short trip this next month before a road trip to Missouri in August.

Welcome back, Tony!

Hmm... assuming your family is on board with your "addiction," and since you seem to be leaving your acquisitions in better condition than you found them for an eventual next owner... I don't see a need for an intervention. Call it a hobby. You're doing the fiberglass world a favor. I try to follow a 2-year rule... if I haven't used something in two years, time to let it go.

In my opinion the Trillium is the keeper in this lot. Love the 4500's!

Ah, the single life does have it’s advantages...my girls are to young to have veto power.
I posted more pics in the Trillium serial numbers thread. This week will be for cleaning & getting everything checked out & ready to roll.

Cheers!

Well my DW has a 2 camper limit, and we are at the limit . Though we do love our Trillium 4500 . In two and a half years, we've already logged over 10,000 miles and 100 nights, and we'll probably keep it for a long time.

I am not going to be much help with the addiction, unless you were looking for an enabler.

I need to get back to two but I’m torn...I really like the simplicity of the Burro and I didn’t notice any hit on my fuel mileage. First world problems...
