Hello again from Oklahoma

Just checking back in after lurking for a few months. After a delay due to changes in travel plans, weather, and other unforeseen circumstances, my Burro is finally parked in my driveway. And it is the coolest little trailer I've ever seen! In great condition, has a brand-new axel and electric brakes, the original stove, heater, & frig. all in working order. I'm going to go out and sit in it with my guitar and a glass of wine to celebrate today. Now I've got to get all the bits and pieces together on my Taco so it's ready to go. I'm putting in a transmission cooler (well, not exactly me, I'm having someone else do it) along with wiring for the brake controller, a Prodigy II. The exterior might just stay as-is (Donna, I like your take on not polishing!) I do intend to do a little interior decorating and additions; I'll keep a photo log and share my progress. I've got a little pop-up screen house to add to my outdoor living space. Am I excited? YES! Thanks for this site and for all the help and comments.

Hi Faye! Pictures, you have pictures? I think sitting inside with your guitar and glass of wine sounds like Nirvana... enjoy every moment.

Burros are the sisters to UHauls with smooth inside and outside shells. I'm a wax and wear girl also, haven't gone yet to the 'shiny side'.

There are a lot of girls that are 'glamping' around on this site, welcome!
