Hello... Camperer wannabe.

Hello! I've been camping (tenting) all of my life, and will likely still do so sometimes. But, I think I've paid my dues, so I'm looking for a tiny fiberglass trailer to customize, and start using for campering.

I found a gutted Hunter Compact II a couple of weeks ago, but missed out on it, unfortunately! So, I'll keep looking and in the meantime, learning.

Annie

Welcome, Annie!

You may have dodged a bullet with a gutted trailer. Fix-up costs can escalate quickly. For a first trailer, it's often better to start with something a bit more camp-ready.

In any case, no good looking back. Keep searching and be ready to act quickly. If you go the "Document Center" in the "More" tab at the top you can find the "Buyer's Checklist." It will help you evaluate a used trailer.

Best wishes in your "egg hunt"!

Thank you all!!

Tony, I would love a nice one, but they are unfortunately very cost prohibitive. I'll check out that section for sure, thank you! It would be so great to have a little egg to tow around, and to be able to camp in the colder weather.

Hi Annie
Welcome to the forum. We are boler enthusiasts and own 3 at the moment. Two we are working on and hoping to use for our family campouts and the other is sitting waiting to have it's new plexiglass windows installed, new cabinet doors put on and wiring redone. It has all cushions and table in really good condition. I am planning to make new curtains at some point. We have a brand new frame for it as well which is a heavier one than the original. We are planning to put this little egg all back together again and then put her up for sale. Not sure where you are located but we are in Lumby east of Vernon BC. Maybe this might be the one? Not sure how long before we are finished with all the work as we want to have some camping time this summer too!!

Sweet!! It sounds too lovely to be anywhere near my price range though. It sounds really awesome!
