Hello from beautiful BC!

I'm new here and looking at getting into a FGRV soon. I don't know much about the trailers yet, but was excited when I stumbled across fiberglassrv.com!
Are there many brands/models that come with bunk beds and a queen?
Thanks in advance.

Escape Trailer Industries might be in your back yard.

Hi and welcome aboard. I have no idea except that Parkliner has a bunk bed option. Don't know how big their "break down the main dinette into a bed" is. But Parkliners are really,, really small and when I had a looksee it was suggested the bunks are really not for adults- just for kids.

Hello from beautiful BC!

Welcome!

Parkliner is the only one I know with a true 60" queen and bunks. It is a crossways, crawl-over queen. The lower bunk is pretty tight, but they do advertise the bunks as being able to support adults. It is currently being redesigned, but I am hearing there will still be a bunk option.

Escape doesn't have exactly the combination you want, but it does offer several options that sleep four.

A Bigfoot 25RQ has a walk-around queen and a dinette that sleeps 2 more.

If you don't need a bathroom, a Casita Liberty standard has a king-sized bed and front bunks.

For the most part, molded fiberglass trailers are shorter and narrower than conventional trailers, so smaller beds are the norm. It's tight, but we sleep 4 in a 13' Scamp. Two in a 45"x76" "double" bed (sleeping in opposite directions) and two more on 24"x76" bunks.

Best wishes figuring out what will work for you. Visiting a rally is one way to get started. You will see a lot of different makes and models in one place.

Hi, Welcome, Mr. Squbbles, hope you have a good search and a successful purchase! Most of us have had interesting and often extended hunts. But then, after that...

Happy trails!

BEST
Kai

I have on order an Escape 17B which has a queen bed and a sturdy double bunk option.

A minor correction. The 17B does not have a queen bed. The bed width is 52", not 60" as with a real queen bed in the 19. Also, the bed isn't 80" long as with a real queen - it's 76". The double bunk option is a gaucho bunk over the dinette.

Okay, so it's not a full queen like the Parkliner. Still a good size compared to some.
