Hello from Chicago area

Hi,

I've been lurking here for awhile and my new scamp 19 is due to be completed in a couple weeks, so I thought I should register. Seems like a fine bunch of people here.

I'm retired for about a year and a half and traveled alot in that time with a small camper. I sold my old camper and I am excited to get in the new one.

Welcome to the FG forum! Only two weeks, that must be exciting. Which version and layout is it? What TV?

Thanks for the warm welcome! I'm getting a scamp 19 deluxe with layout "A". Not sure what the tv is, the order sheet just says "TV". Pictures will certainly be forthcoming after I pick it up.

Cindy - I checked out your picture album. That Bigfoot looks really nice, I don't think I ever seen one in the wild before.

TV abbreviation sometime confuses me as well, I should have spelled it out. In this context I meant Tow Vehicle, not Television...

They only made 18 of the Bigfoot Silver Clouds. Maybe we will meet up at a rally. We go to Algonac and Eggs a la Bourbon and the Fish Fry when we can. When I retire, we can go to more.

Paul, TV=tow vehicle, i should have realized that, I've seen it so many times in the various forums, just didn't click at the time. LOL. Anyway the TV is a Ford F150 3.5eco.

Cindy, I plan on going to some rallies, they look like a lot of fun, hope to see you there.

Looking forward to meeting you.

Do you have parking space? We have had to rent space for our Silver Cloud, but we were able to park our Uhaul VT on the parking pad in Oak Park.
