We've been to a few mini's in MI over the last few years and sort of hosted some of them. There are some very nice parks.

what would you think about aloha state park? its on a lake, sort drive to a lot of things to see and do.
it is a popular park so that might be an issue as far as avialability.

I love Cheboygan area. would they reserve sites?
I have a lot of open weekends in June, early July, and August. So I can be flexible as to dates. Who wants to throuw out some dates and start the ball rolling?

yes you can reserve sites on line.
so when???
july is usually pretty busy for everyone, maybe mid june? or august?
august might be nice , a cooldown up north by a lake. some lazy fishing,,, some hot cooking, maybe some laughing around a campfire as we watch the stars.

It may depend on where you are in da UP. IIRC, on the Superior Shore they were really bad around the end of July and early August. But inland or Lake Mich shore temps are different so the timing may be different.

If we're talking Aloha state park, that is south of the bridge. Or is this moving north of the bridge?

Take a look and let us know, we just need a place and time, not everyone will be able to make it, but the ones that can will love it.
