Hello from Montana

I recently purchased an 82 Scamp. There are not a lot of Montana Scamps around, so if anyone is near central Montana, I would like to meet some local references for things related to Scamp life.

I'm sure a few will pop up and give you the low down.

Won't be many out for a few months. Scamp won't be coming out to Montana from Iowa until this spring. It's the camper we use to get away from the camper that doesn't move.

Ben

Plan to come to some of the Fiberglass events this summer. There are some great one's in Oregon, which are not too far. Hope to meet up with you sometime.

Thanks, Ian. Your post was one of the first posts that I read on this site. I was looking at a great little Boler at the time. Your bottom up rebuild is one of the best documented overhauls on this site. Aside from the welding, it gave me a lot of confidence to jump in.

Thank you for the kind words Ben.
I am planning on being at the Oregon Gathering in July, that would be a fun event to bring your Boler.

Donna, I must note that you are one of the best moderators on any forum that I have ever seen. You have sound opinions, the great icon, and an extremely welcoming presence. If the folks on this forum are not holding an annual Scamp-together in your honor, then I would be shocked.

Thanks Ben. But you'll note, I'm not a moderator. Just a member like so many others here. There's a passion about these trailers that so many of us feel. Share knowledge, pay it forward and be glad others have decided to join us in making lifelong memories... that's my motto. Oh... and post pictures!
