Welcome Lee. It's time to start making some memories of your own in the Trillium now. They do, quite literally, last a lifetime and more. Hoping to stop in at Elliot Lake the next time I head west. I believe there are still a couple of 291ers living there that I should visit. If the answers to your questions are not already here, just ask. You will not have to wait too long for an answer.
D.

Welcome

Hi Lee: nice to see a fellow fg owner from Ontario. I'm Shelley from Windsor, Ontario. I spent three weeks around your part of the province, last summer.
We spent most of the time at Sleeping Giant after scoring a cabin. In the future I would like to visit Elliott Lake.
I have a '75 Trillium as well, recently purchased and have not camped in it yet.
Mine is all original, right down to the flower power cushions.
A wealth of information here and everyone is eager to help out. Enjoy !!!!

Two Nine One [291] was the Canadian Military Occupation Code [MOC] for a dedicated group of Communications Research Specialists. We had Navy, Army and Air Force prior to integration.
We are all still connected through the Oldtimers Assoc. and even though many of us have 30 and 40 years of "retirement" we are still a proud group of former professionals. Unsung heroes of the cold war era with a proud tradition that still holds strong. D

Hi Dave so after reading your reply I did some reading on the net and I found alot of info about this, very interesting stuff, especially since radio communications is a hobby of mine, nothing even close to what you did but I do use my old C.B base station setup to shoot skip when the conditions are right and I also use a radio scanner to listen to various other things,I always wanted to get involved in Ham radio but the cost of getting setup always turned me off.Anyhow thanks for the reply, take care.
