Hello from the redwoods

I am sort of entering this community backwards. We have owned our 1979 Trillium 4500 for 20 years and are getting ready to sell it. Researching on line has led me to this site, which is very cool and I wish I had found it sooner. So, hello from the north coast of California.

Welcome Dick. Sorry you didn’t find this site sooner. I’m hooked on it and my wife refers to it as “my bible.” It it wonderfully informative and entertaining.

Maybe you should reconsider selling your Trillium and stick around a while longer.

Doug, that’s funny because my wife has to remind me from time to time to get off this forum and spend time in my Bible!

Dick, welcome! Love those old Land Cruisers. Trillium 4500’s are just as rare.

Why are you selling? Are you quitting camping or are you moving up to a newer rig? You won't have any trouble selling the Trillium.

My wife and I are both 75 and need all the creature comforts we can get. We just bought a new 19' lightweight Tango (not a fg bubble unfortunately, but it does have fg siding) that we can pull with our Honda Ridgeline. We have had many wonderful trips over the years and I hate to give up the Trillium for all the reasons that you all know, but it is time to move on.

We are on the south Oregon coast. So, not too far away. I’m scheming to take a short trek to the trees, soon. I hope you are super happy with your new traveling home.
