Hello from Vancouver, BC

Hey Everyone,

Just a quick hello from Vancouver, BC, Canada. The BF and I bought a project boler about a year ago. We totally expected it have it in pristine shape about 2 minutes after purchase...... We were able to take it on our first ever camping trip last August. We loved it even though we had to tie the door shut with a bungee cord and use tin foil on the windows instead of curtains. (yes. we endured a ton of comments from passers-by about the state of our grow-op) Bit by bit we are getting things done. And thanks to a super helpful tip from Slav (a member on this forum) we may have found a door handle...Yay!

I look forward to pestering each and every one of you with questions.

Have a lovely day.

Maggie aka kitsgal

Hi Maggie! to FiberglassRV. We're glad you're here!

Just as you've found with Slav, there are lots of kind and helpful people here to help with your rehab of your Boler. If you've read very much, you know here on FiberglassRV we love pictures. Especially the kind that let us follow along on the improvement journey!

Hi Maggie, there is a ralley in June at the Sons of Norway in Mission. Perhaps you can come out and meet other FG owners. Look forward to seeing you if you can make it. Marina

Vancouver Fibreglass

Seems like there is a lot of fibreglass in the Vancouver area! Just cruise the lanes and spot the potential projects. There must be half a dozen in my area alone. Check out my "Maiden Voyage" post today. Just have to do a few paint touch ups and it'll be 100%. Keep up the good work. It'll be there soon.

Lol, I was just telling a friend about that the other day and she didn't believe me. We took a drive and found two in about six blocks.

Funny how that happens. And, it doesn't matter what the genre. You could buy a 69 VW and all of the sudden you notice those!
