Hello, we are Ron & Judy

Hello, we recently bought a 1973 Trillium Fiberglass trailer and we've been browsing this site for a few days. It looks like a thriving community with lots of great ideas on how we can spruce up our little trailer. We're looking forward to learning all the things necessary to maintain our Trillium and what options we have in modifying it to suit our needs.

Welcome.....................
Ditto to what Bama said.......especially the opinions.......LOL

There are lots of Trillium owners on here willing to help out.
The rest of us will give you more than enough opinions.....LOL

Question: Have you propped up your roof?
Some have had collapses with excessive snow loads.

I was sure I was done buying Trilliums for Now

Well, maybe that one is a little extreme......LOL

thanks for the warm welcome. I have the trailer under a tarp garage to keep the snow off. With the winter we've been getting so far here in Ontario, my biggest challenge is keeping the snow off the garage so it doesn't collapse

LOL.........I bet there's a picture out there some where with a collapsed
garage as well.

You have a great find there. I know you will enjoy it.

welcome, judy and ron! your trailer looks lovely and i know you will make many wonderful memories with it.

here---we're one big family. lots of advice, sometimes unsolicited, just like a family gives. lots of laughs, lots of encouragement and lots of knowledge to share.
but the best-----you're not obligated to spend time with any of us on holidays!
wink, wink.
again, welcome.

Hi Judy and Ron. Welcome to FGRV. I know you are going to love your little Trill. I owned a 13 footer and couldn't bear to part with it when I bought my 4500, so gave it to my daughter.

They are a tough little camper. I knew nothing about FG campers when I got the Trillium and I towed it everywhere for years, clear out to BC and back bf I found this forum and began to learn so much. With reasonable maintenance you will be making fun memories for years to come.

I hope you will join us for the Bolerama at Long Beach in July. And if you can't wait until July, there is an earlier 'Eggfest' in May. Be sure to watch for info.

I am now fairly sure that snow was not the issue on this collapse. I suspect it was more likely someone on the roof that caused it to collapse. It is still a guess, but I just can't see snow doing that. I could be wrong though.

Ron, we really like pictures. A picture of your data sheet, that should be on the inside of your closet door, will win you a place on the serial number list:
