Hey everyone, new 17' Boler Owner.

Hey everyone, just noticed there is an introduction section. This place is absolutely amazing. Looking forward to providing help and ideas, and also receiving it. I live in Calgary Alberta, work in sales & marketing, and do a lot of volunteering for a local animal rescue (have fostered over 100 puppies, and have 5 pups right now!). Currently completely reconditioning my 1978, 17' Boler Trailer.

I did the paint and body work on my friends 13' Boler a few years ago. Here's that adventure: 1972 Boler Recondition

Anyway, happy there is such an amazing place for fiberglass trailer owners to chat.

Great work on your friend's trailer - love it when people are not afraid of COLOUR. I hope that he will help out with your project and I look forward to seeing how it turns out.

Thanks! Yeah I am all about colour. We put three coats of clear on it and it's holding up good. One thing we learned is to not go crazy on the fine grit sand paper. We prepped entire body with 600 grit and should have kept a bit more of a rough 200 grit finish.
