I am Scott. I've owned my 1977 13ft
Scamp since October 2000. My Australian Shepard, Shiawa (RIP) and I have traveled to 42 states and a few Provinces in Canada with the
Scamp; some more than once. One trip included 114 F degrees in Death Valley to 21 F degrees in Glacier National Park. Except for melting the treads off the
Scamp tires, it performed outstanding. The gas mileage of my Chevy Silverado has never wavered pulling the dinosaur egg. It truly is a great way to camp. Scampers are a unique group of people and I have crossed paths with many Scampers over the years. Always filled with stories and smiles. I have logged onto this site on many occasions in the past for its wealth of information and find it to be a great resource. Now that I have officially created a user account, I am happy to share my Scamp experiences and knowledge, but also hope to sell my Scamp to a worthy new owner. I will post a separate thread in the
For Sale section with details.
Cheers!
