I am back and looking again. Had a uhaul and for some reason thought selling it was ok....I miss that thing a lot.
My wife loved it too and we moved on to a transvan . She passed away this April and I'm looking to find another and revisit a few memories. I miss her terribly and think maybe this will help.
Anyhow, I'm back and searching.

I was wondering where you went Bruce. You gave me some good info when we bought ours. Camping in it this weekend. Most of the Uhaul people are on a Facebook group now and some are occasionally listed for sale there. Sorry about the loss of your wife. Good luck in your search for another Uhaul.

I joined the Facebook group. Looks to be fairly busy. I remember you also, andd it's good to see you still have yours.
I just sent a message to the gal listing a compact jr , so maybe I'll be able to grab something. The uhauls appear to have shot up in price, actually they all have.

Bruce sorry for your loss. My wife passed away three years ago. If somebody who not lost a spouse has told you they know how you feel, they DO NOT! Life goes on but not the same as it was. It will get better.

Thankyou everyone, looks like I'll be getting a compact jr and I'm excited to get started on it.

My buddy picked up the Compact Jr yesterday and brung it to Ct where I'll be keeping it for now. When I get up there at the end of the month for a wedding I'll try and do a few things to it and maybe camp one night. I'm grateful to Celia for the good deal. My wife would have loved it and I sure get sad when I can't show her pics etc.

Update...I got up to CT for the holiday week and gave the compact a good going over and tinkered some. Removed the side windows and revealed with butyl tape and tested them. No more leaks. Everyone who has seen it loves it, and I think it's roomier than the Uhaul I had before. The bed is big!
I didn't bring it back to Indiana yet, as I'm not sure I want it here. I'm very happy with it .

Hi Bruce,

Just read your thread. I have only been on FGRV.com for about a year and Laura and I bought new to us Casita in November as an empty nest adventure.
