Hi everyone!

Hi All, right now my husband and I have a 2004 casita freedom deluxe and are considering buying a Bigfoot M-15-C-8.2. What are your thoughts? Is this an upgrade? We would like to be able to tow our boat. Also the camper is close to 10,000$. Is this a fair price?

Hi Kristy. With dry weight close to 2100 lbs, you should figure that the camper will be in the 2600-3200 lb range once you are loaded for camping. Add in the tongue weight of your boat with trailer, and you will have quite a load on there. I hope you have a 1-ton dually pickup! Check payload capacity carefully, because every pickup truck's numbers are different due to varying options (many of which add weight and subtract payload).

Not sure about the fairness of the price, especially not knowing the model year. Maybe someone else will have an idea about that.
