We are Diana and Steve from Toronto. We just purchased a 1980 Trillium 5500 dual axle trailer after deciding 16 years of camping with a pop-up trailer was enough. We are towing with a 2012 4.0L, 6 cylinder Toyota 4Runner. We are newbies to a hard-sided camper and to the molded fiberglass trailer community. We know there is a lot to learn. First steps will be changing all lights to LED and adding a solar option. Any suggestions on immediate maintenance or what to look for or work on for before winter comes? Thanks everyone!

Go to the Search menu top right, enter the word winterizing in the bottom "Google" search box. You will find many discussions on prepping the trailer for winter.

Welcome to the FGRV forum family. The best way to winterize you trailer is to come to Arizona after Thanksgiving and go back home in late May.
