Hi folks, been surfing around looking for info on my 2003
Bigfoot 17 centre bath, 25th Anniversary Edition.
I found this forum a couple years ago but finally got around to joining.
Lots of great experience here, and one day I hope I can give back as much as I learn. I tow with a 2012 F150, barely know its back there. The trailer is in excellent condition, and had quite low usage when I found it. Zero indication it had ever been on a gravel road. I flipped the
axle for higher off highway clearance. Switched all the
lights to LED, including the
fridge. Added a carbon water filter inline on the cold supply to the kitchen sink.
Resealed all the roof hatches, skylight, screws etc with Dicor. Its never leaked, and has no odor. Never smoked in. Replaced the
awning with one from Tough Top. A couple of
windows suffer from the classic seal creep, but the seals remain intact so i'm leaving them for now.
I'm looking at changing up the 27 series deepcycle with a pair of 6v Crowns or Trojans, but will post my questions for that in the forum for mods/updates.
