WOW, This looks like a wonderful site. I've already seen and learned a lot from everyone on here. I'm not even sure how I found you all, but I love it.

Right now, I'm shopping for a 13' camper. I found 2 used ones, and I'm going to make a trip to the factory and talk to Allen and check out the new ones. I'm very excited about all this.

I just (2010/Oct) bought my 13ft Scamp at the factory in MN. Great group of folks and very helpful. Recommend and early arrival to give plenty of time to see trailers and tour the factory. I spent all my time receiving delivery of the one made for me.

Hello and Welcome Mary Ann,
Not sure how far you are from the Canadian/USA Border and the city of Winnipeg but that may be another option for trailer shopping? Kijiji is a popular web site in Winnipeg for shopping of all kinds including trailers.
We also have a Rally coming up in August which will be at a Provincial Park close to the USA border, you can read about it in the Rally forum.

Welcome from a little further south in Mn. I think you can find a used one if you check the boards, check craigslist, etc come spring. Most used are still in good shape but probably are in winter storage right now.

PS You may want to add MN to "Virginia" in your signature, as so many people spend part of the year on one side of the Mason Dixon and the other.
... a lot of people don't know that "yes, indeed, Virginia, there's a Virgina in Minnesota...."

One of the reasons we have our egg is that my aunt and uncle in southern MN bought a little 13 Scamp and towed it around the lakes in Minnesota for 15 years or so, with many happy adventures.

Thank you all for such a nice welcome. I'm still trying to learn my way around here.

I found a few campers, most have been 16 ft. or the deluxe model. I'm just looking for a 13' that sleeps 3-4 so I can take my little grandson with me at times. I know he would love it. I'm thinking about taking a trip over to Scamp Sales this weekend if I can get away. It's only about a 3 hr. drive from here. Everyone I have talked to over there has been very nice. I just might have to bite the bullet and buy a new one.
